The fortified palace, built in the 16th century, is the oldest part of the manor complex. The newer building represents the classicism of the early 19th century. The complex also includes the stables and the coach-house. A lime-tree lane lines the pond. There are nearly 15 exotic trees and shrubs growing in the park, including the tallest secular oak tree in Latvia (36 m high and 5 m in perimeter) and nearly 10 other secular trees. There are 57 introduced trees, shrubs and climbers in the park.
